New York native Beth Bischoff's art photography emerged from her background in fashion. After attaining a BA in Arts and Education, she moved to Paris where she furthered her studies in art and photography at the Sorbonne and the Ecole de Louvre. From there she began working as a fashion photographer in different parts of Europe, basing herself in Paris. It was traveling for this work that provided the opportunity to photograph her "Journeys" series, a personal travel log, which starts in Egypt along the Adriatic, southern Italy, the Mediterranean and ending in Morocco.
Her work has been shown in the "Metamorphoses" exhibition at The Grand Palais, Paris, France. She won "Award of Excellence" in Photographer Forum Magazine. At Salmagundi Club in New York City she won 1st. Honorable Mention. Beth's work is in the collection at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital and chosen for "selected artist" on MV photo blog. She is published in Conde Nast, The New York Times, Random House, Rodale Press and others. Most recently, Beth was chosen at a juried exhibition at the Photoplace Gallery in Middleburg, Vermont.
