On the rare occasions when I capture images with color film, I often focus on extreme close up views of flowers.

Influenced by Georgia O'Keefe, by limiting the focus to a single section of the flower it can become almost unrecognizable. The blast of strong color is intended to spark the viewers imagination with the images often taking on the impression of other objects.
